Silver walls in a golden world, outward shine with evil motives,
enough is never enough.
Rushing through, swimming upstream at a frantic pace.
Too many runners and not enough lanes,
points of light going round and round, a massive spinning wheel that
I am powerless to stop, even the best drugs couldn't cause this much confusion.
I had to step out, for the movie was playing much too fast.
A restless mind outside of the world of slumber,
becoming more numb, and I cease to wonder.
Sky blue ceiling, water blue floor
Silver walls embrace me, pacifying a deranged soul.
Safety and solitude within its massive structure.
The golden world will never touch me again.
