The Holidays are Coming!

Image by Debbie Ridpath-Ohi of InkyGirl.com Copyright 2006

The holidays are fast approaching -- are you prepared? It's getting harder and harder to find a parking spot at the mall and time is definitely running out. In this section of a new issue, we usually give you a little writer's inspiration; something to boost up your inner writer to get moving. But this time, we'll do something just a touch different. How about a little shopping advice?

People tend to overspend during the holidays. A great trick to staying within budget is to use checks, a check card, or cash. Because there are limits to how much we have in cash or checking, it will ensure that you don't spend more than you planned. So leave the credit cards at home!

In any case, stay safe this season. Bundle up, drive safely, and don't panic when the guy in the fast car steals your parking spot. Another one will soon open up. :)
