You fill the need when nothing else could.

You understood and took nothing in return

but love, which you earn.

Yet the controversy lingers on

about your lack of tradition.

And why not?

You see a need and with courage….

without greed you satisfy.

You change your moods to comply.

You build character, break a heart,

you can cause total confusion,

and yet knowledge you’ll impart.

That is power – indestructible and sweet

You’ll never have to accept defeat.

You stand alone, never to be forgotten

You are…..Music…..play on.
