I was mad at you today.

I thought the pain would never go away.

It sometimes frighten me to think

that I could be on the brink of losing you

just because I choose to remain in that closed

closet space of my brain reserved only for the insane.

Pain has a way of ripping the tongue of forgiveness;

and before long, compassion becomes shy

and love is just a passer-by.

But the umbilical cord is no thin line,

blood that flows, thickens and grows and love

will survive......the hurt will subside,

then I'll be glad.

But for today.....

accept me mad.
