You looked at me

And in one glance I could see who you are

Never to be forgotten

Powerful and strong

That’s where you belong

Among those who are not afraid to express their beliefs

Those who are willing to explore without

taking advantage of that which is vulnerable.

You are the one, capable and true.

I take my hat off to you.

Once again you looked at me

And I looked back

Not in awe but with pride

For I had a plan to abide

by your side

Make me a believer.
