You smile and you dance on a blanket of clouds

you cry and you yell when hell holds you both captive

days will pass and you hope things will be different

no longer harsh words, you can't shed more tears than you already have

But you pause for a second

You think about him or her

About those things that hurt you so much

about those times that made your heart smile

and you don't want to let them go but you're forced to

destiny is a bitch, and some things will never be different

But you loved this person, how can this be?

That you are no longer one and they are not there

you feel a rush of loneliness hit your cheek

and the gust of wind hits you right in the face

but he is gone and i am here

writing a poem about the one that threw me away
