About a concert.
Sense the pulsing of the heartbeats, rattling the room
This structure cannot hold the passion, screaming lungs simply knock through
Every inch of these walls, while chords are blaring,
to conclude with a signature sent sincerely by love, projected into memory
Etched in tightly
Taste the sweetness on your lips, inhaling the air sacrificed from energy
An addiction in the atmosphere, the nicotine you cannot give up
Silently, the life jumps out of the lights, cast upon the setting
Gels mesh with the colors, all set to perform a tango with one another
Endlessly entertaining, solely to provoke hints of anticipation
Listen carefully, the sharps and flats combine
Crafting a tune to melt within the heat, molding the perfect pitch with time
Flashes cheer continuously, working refractions off the smiles,
The shaking of the venue persists, this whole place is going down.
Smell the perfection off the riffs, the presence you can feel
Flowing into the throat, conjuring up in the stomach
And remain concealed, as the bubbles prosper rapidly,
Allowing butterflies to thrive
Can you see all the people? Living in your eyes
Hearts pulsing, sweet tasting
Is this enough for tonight?
"Never" is yelled, at the top of your mind
There's a series of smooth melodies,
Perfection accompanied with a lime
Bite into happiness, consume the dream you once dreamt
Reality never felt so intense, it's colors to black and white. |
