I lost the chord

I'm sure it's somewhere
amongst my thoughts

I heard it

strumming
but my fingers
seem to be
like stone
as they touch
the strings

The six strings
that compose
and repose
my soul

First
is the string
of humility
with
the ability
to lower
my self-esteem

Second
is the string
of hope
more like
a rope
that I climb
to the peak
to seek
tomorrow

Third

One of the
center strings
the one
that brings
faith
belief
beyond relief
in loyalty
of the unseen

And the
neighbor string
to the third
being the fourth
String of solace
it is
a comfort
an easing
of grief
if only brief
laying next
to the fifth

Amidst a rift
of tones
are silent moans
of the
number five string
The string of passion
emotions
devotions
love, hate and fear
all in one
having fun
taunting string six
with a mix
of bipolar
mania

The sixth
being the string
of patience
strums a note
to calm
passion
in a fashion
only
a true friend
could

But
I've lost
the chord
now I wander
in search
of the
lost chord
