outside the ageless forest of dreams...the walls of my life are bare...

When I go back to sleep
on my bed
I just feel warm serenity
With the cool breeze
Blowing through the window
to my face
And when I just
let my eyes retire…
Everything in disguise
succumbs to my desire
'Cause though I am wise
Still can't help but give in
And get lost in the
ageless forest of dreams
I'd feel the leaves falling
around me
Like feathers on my skin
Then hear the laughter of the stream
and the whispers in the wind...
And I just have
to let my heart take the lead
To feel the blanket
of your arms…
And your lips on my hair,
Telling me you are there
I'm out of bounds, maybe
But for the time being
Reality's far off for me to care
'Cause when I'm back
on my bed
My heart just goes aflame
And when the sun starts to glare,
That's when the music fades
And once again I witness
That the walls of my life
are bare
'Cause I'm too clammed up
To take a stair
And by my rules abide
I don't think fair's
on my side
There's nothing left to do
but hide
The part of my life
that is you
Has been nothing but...
a lie
