I hold the strings of time,
The strings of the free bird kites pull and threaten to unbalance me.
I must hold tight to the memories.
Hold tight to twisting, turning wind which draws them farther away.
I am the foundation of the past.
Hold a steady ground and plant my feet to the earth.
I have to hold on.
But to let go?
Will the kites hold tight to the earth or drift away to the winds beckoning?
Oh the wind, what a traitorous villain.
Stealing the part of me away with its silvery tongue and promise of future.
I must hold tight to the strings of my soulmates.
I am the kite keeper.
