A little poem about all those memories we collect along the way.

There’s junk in my head.

It’s cluttered and piled up in boxes

and there’s dust and cobwebs collecting

in every corner.

There are papers everywhere,

stuff I didn’t even know I had.

Ah, I forget so much,

and I wish I could collect it all.

Instead, I’ve stowed away memories

I don’t want anymore.

All of it keeps piling up,

rattling around,

cluttering my thoughts.

But I keep adding

to those old memories

adding to the mess

because it’s a part of me.
