This is a poem that I wrote a while ago. It's about a love that I thought was true, but ended up being nothing but an illusion.

Voiceless

Standing there in front of me
Your hair blowing in the wind
I never thought such a time could come
But this may be the end.

I want this to last forever
But I know that it will not
You knew how much I love you
Though I think that you forgot.

Why would you choose her over me?
What didn’t I do right?
I’m too late to persuade you now
I’ve truly lost my fight…

She has got your heart now
The whole entire thing
I have no more happiness…
I will no longer sing…
