This was inspired by an online chat with someone who liked to run around her house in the nude.  Strangely, for such a prude, I've become friends with a great number of nudists.  I will note that I've never vacationed with any of them.

A still and sultry Southern night

Lightning moving across fields and trees

Cool wind caressing naked flesh

Soothing fever dreams of passion

The lightning frolics with my skin

Playing hide and seek with sight

A flash of white, revealed in light

Then hiding earthly shell in dark mystery

Oh the winsome wisdom of wild weather

Intoxicating my mind and soul

Whispering ancient secrets and truth

Conflict and chaos vying for supremacy

What is the connection

Between the lightning and my mind

Lodestone which draws my soul

In the battle between the dark and light

What is real in this dance of life

Passions and joys revealed

Holding on to freedom of the mind

Joined together in eternal embrace
