What are badges?

Badges are special award icons given to member who deserve recognition for something special they've done at WriteSpot.org. Badges are only awarded to registered members. Your badges will show up on your profile in the Badges tab. It's our way of saying thanks to members who are active in our writing community!

What kind of badges are there?

Currently, we have several badges and are constantly thinking of new ones. To see all the available badges, check this page.

How do I know if I received a badge?

As soon as a badge is awarded, you will receive a private message stating which badge you have received. Also, you may check in your profile, in the Badges tab to see a list of all badges that you've been awarded.

I should've received a badge. Where is it?

If you notice that you should have received a badge, you can contact us to let us know. Unfortunately, we sometimes miss a badge. If you notice that you have 5 or more articles, do let us know that you should receive a 5 Mile or 10 Mile badge. We apologize if this has happened to you. Private message Melody and she'll make sure that you receive your badge soon!

Can I nominate a member for a badge?

Yes! There is a special badge called the Member's Choice badge. You can nominate any member for any reason. To submit your nomination, please send a private message to Helene. We'll review your nomination and award the badge!

I have a great idea for a badge! Who should I tell?
