Dear Members,

The long awaited debut of Poetry Weekly has finally come! For the first time, we're featuring new poems every week -- and it starts today. There are several new poems this week by various authors, including:

  • Holly Abidi
  • Anna Asbury
  • Joseph Bejcek PoeWhit
  • Amber Whitman
  • and more!

To view the latest poems, head on over to the "New Poems This Week" on the right-side menu or click HERE. To frequently access Poetry Weekly, please bookmark http://poetry.writespot.org now!

How to Use Poetry Weekly:
The new structure may seem a little confusing, but it's actually very simple. Poetry Weekly has become a "child site" for the Write Spot - it's a section of its own. To access Poetry Weekly, click the button labeled "Poetry Weekly" in the Site Menu OR type: http://poetry.writespot.org into your browser.

Newly published poems will be featured in "New Poems This Week" for 7 days. After that point, those poems will be moved to "Poetry Archive". (So if you're looking to read a few good poems, don't forget to visit Poetry Archive! Over 50 poems are there, and it's growing!) "Poetry Corner" is updated every two weeks and is part of our ezine.

To submit poems, you must be a registered member. (Not a member? Register here!) Log into your account and click "Submit Poems" from the User Menu on the left side of the page. Type in a title, choose a category, then type in your poem. That's it! Then, click the Save button (disc icon). Our editors will review your submission and will set a publish date.

NOTE: Poems you submitted aren't automatically published on the site. An editor will review and format your piece before setting a publish date.

Enjoy Poetry Weekly! If you have any questions, please let us know in the Forums, or private message FalconDance or Helene.
