Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 10/02/2007 Don't fret now little missy. I were just funnin' you. I'd have to be some kinda mangy polecat to start problems with you.

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 10/02/2007 It'll be there - I squeezed publishing into the "read the newspaper and wake up with hot tea" time and "get ready and go to work" time this morning. I was a bit late to work.

Otherwise, ya think I was too critical? Not clear enough? Too soft altogether on everybody?

....goes off to another forum to retrieve Jimmy's piece in between supper-making and spinning.....
********

It's up.

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 10/02/2007 Ok, ducky-doodles. New issue is up and sure to cause general discomfort and malcontent amongst the masses.

But at least I restrained myself somewhat .

QFT. Not only that, it involves multi-tasking, and multi-tasking is for the young. After all, not only do you have to move your fingers, but you have to move your eyes at the same time. It's sooo hard...

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 09/26/2007 Well, they were wisely gone when I got back from lunch, air unpolluted behind them. When they turned in their travel receipts (to account against the money they were allotted), it came up waaaaay short - as in trying to gain more than what they ought. One guy told the boss (on the phone) "I'll re-add them and make it come out right" to which he was apparently told to give the receipts back to the secretary immediately! Score one for us more honest folk.

*sigh* Another day of way too much to do and not nearly enough time no matter how busy I stay. You know, known defeat before you start makes it very difficult to stay motivated. Oh well. At least there's no headache yet!

Ok, Glenda has nice reads in the backend for me to post, the Bardic One is working on a Primer for Game Modules , and Antryg is quietly waiting in the background for me to fall apart so he can pick me up and dust me off. Helene is back almost, and the cats have decided that the only wool acceptable to lay in is the prepared-for-spinning fluff. YeeHaw, life is good .

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 09/25/2007 Don't get mad at me ever, pleeeeease. I'm afraid you'll say "off with her head". Sounds like you had a hell of a day. Don't envy you that. Keep hanging in there tough, sounds like they need a strong hand at your job.

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop 2007 1st edition - 09/25/2007 *sigh* I didn't mean how to script the whole darned she-bang! No matter what I may have said, I meant module building within a certain game system (which will actually carry over to others quite a bit since coding is coding). All a module is is a piece of a game. *rolls eyes sarcastically*

Had to come home for lunch since 1) I was hungry and this headache isn't helping and 2) a crew we had out on the road just got back - 4 days late - because they decided to detour to FL on the way home to MO from the pick-up in GA AND they expect to get paid for it! No doubt they will since they went to visit the boss' daughter. They're rather upset they didn't get paid upon arrival but since boss didn't leave any checks behind and no one who has actually been working has been paid in two weeks whilst we wait for a new check order (which I did in absolute disgust even tho I ain't the secretary) to arrive. Talk about a bunch of freakin' bums.

They'd better not still be there when I get back to work later - they know not to cross me. Yes, that is a threat and one I always make good on. My workplace smells like pot when I return from lunch and I shall come completely unhinged in the most controlled, quiet and evil manner you'd better hope never to have directed your way.

<rant off>
