Hello everyone,
I know I have not been here in a while. I was working with a nearby video store doing promotions and more personal work. I was so happy to have a paying job. I was actually making very good money too. Unfortunately, the business didn't survive. So now I am looking for more paying work again...eekkk. I am hoping to get my fantasy story turned into a novel and finish my family cookbook. I also frequent many online sites. I am writing reviews for The Feminist Review too.
I wanted to share my story of my trip to a diagnostic center yesterday. I had to have a pelvic and abdominal exam done. My boyfriend took time off of work to come with me. I had to drink water till I thought I would drown. We got there and had to wait a bit, but then they took me. They always put you in those flimsy paper gowns that never do up. So when I was done my first exam I was told to use the facilities. I walk out into the hallway and there was a man from the waiting room. Then I turn around and there is another man. I was mortified. There I was trying to keep my gown together and my butt cheeks covered and there were men running around.
I finished the examinations and got dressed. I made it out into the reception area to meet my partner who was still sitting there patiently waiting. I was so happy to have it done and immediately started complaining to him about my dash to the washroom. He told me that one of the men was called back for some reason. That I can understand...but both of the men from the waiting room were back there....it was like a men's convention. If that was the case...all I have to say is "Can I get dressed now?"
