Re:Hi, everyone - 02/19/2007Hey Jim, great to have you here. It's good to see another fiction writer. It takes some work, but it can be very fun. Reading the articles helps a lot. I like to take something that has some truth, at least some reference to what I know about and then turn it into something interesting. It doesn't even have to be anything monumental to start from. I grew up on a farm. So I have been working on a story that center's around dirt. Think that sounds weird, it's a suspense. Have fun. LOL

Hi, everyone - 02/10/2007I joined WriteSpot a few weeks ago. I posted a story and found it listed as the Writer's Showcase (The Pope) in the latest newsletter. Wow. My writing experience to date was non-fiction (articles, newsletters, manuals, training materials).
My goal for the new year is to learn how to write good fiction. I look forward to trading ideas with the community.
