Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/20/2006Ah man, I need coffee, black, and a whole big bottle of Excedrine Migraine, not that I can take those, but at least I'd have them to look at, and dream...

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/20/2006 That might be a little difficult to do all that, Helene. I'm wearing a full length black gown that is just form-skimming enough I don't know if I can sit with my legs properly apart.
But for you, I'll try .

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/19/2006Ok Melody. Thanks... Don't forget: at least 5 people must be watching, and make sure you lift your shirt up to hitch 'em up properly. And make sure you stomp when you walk and don't sit like a lady.

I had to conjugate thionk yesterday. Thionk, thionks, thionkeded. And that is not the same as thoink, of course. It's a sad, sad day when people don't know their own language.
Well sure, everybody should know that. Thionk is thionkeded while Thoink is thoinked.

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/19/2006Ok, I can't go as a modern witch doctor (nurse) to the Ball tomorrow night. Couldn't find any white shoes to suit me.
Guess I'll have to drag out a fancy dress and go glam --- or what passes for me and glamorous. Heck, I even bought new make-up! (When you only wear the goop once a year on a good year, you just don't accumulate much in the way of variety.) Now all I have to do is go to the Amish store tomorrow and buy some new hairpins. It's been several years since I worn my hair in a chignon, bobby pins aren't heavy enough, and that's all any 'modern' store around here sells.
Oh, and Helene, I'll try to remember to hike my hosiery up at inappropriate moments .

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/18/2006I slink You are slinking They slunk away
Apparently yesterday was the germs' one and only major shot at overcoming my system. Today, they've slunk* back to regroup and rethink strategy.
*slunk: yes, it's a word. See, it's in print above and if it's in print, it must be a real word, right?

Why would I want your children. I've already got three parasites; I mean children.

Re:The Bard's Coffee Shop Non sticky floor editio - 10/17/2006I'd ask for a cup of decaf but I couldn't taste it as stuffed up as I am right now. Been trying to fight a cold off for the past week or so, but it seems that the germs are not to be denied their bid for mass chaos and short control over my bio-system.
