I live in Wichita, KS, home of er, just about nothing anymore....except we're going to have a sports arena, sooner or later, not sure what we're going to do with it, but hey, we'll have it. While I don't really consider myself a writer, I do write, but my love is music. I perform, and listen to lots of music...everything from Classical (Beethoven, Brahms) to Metallica...Most of my written music is classical/folksy type stuff, with a couple of potential top 40's. Anyway, Hello.

Re:Hello! - 08/10/2006HI, my name is Glenda and I am so glad just to be here and be honored to have my work published. I really enjoy writing. I am 50 years old, and live in Southeast Nebraska. I am disabled with COPD which makes getting out difficult when the weather isn't almost perfect, but writing and seeing my Grandchildren and the grace of God are all big motivators and healers for me. I also have the very best husband ever born and married to a woman. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary this month.
I am a blessed person.

I live southeast of Kansas City, MO with husband, two teenagers, three dogs, two rabbits and *several* cats (inside and outside). I'm currently a 'lady of leisure' (i.e. not gainfully employed outside the home ).
More often than not, you'll find me either reading (I think I hold the record for the most per annum books read in our county) or computer gaming (Guild Wars ftw!). .......if I'm not cooking or baking or writing or outside or.......... I also dabble in ghostwriting and creating mini-game modules for the Aurora game engine (the one Neverwinter Nights uses). My desk is almost-organized chaos, there are books on every available surface in the house, and I love candle and incense holders.
Dream? Finishing the several writing projects I have going and sending them off to publishing. That and having an unlimited supply of good dark chocolate, calorie-free, readily available at all times

A little about myself...
I live just outside of Atlantic City with my four cats and fiance. I enjoy swimming, writing, reading, and shopping - and of course, Hot Pockets! My current day job is quite boring; I work in jewelry and the only thing that's fun is looking at big sparkly things all day. I am also a freelance writer (which is more fun) and I am usually involved in projects like content writing / managing, ad writing, copywriting, researching, and all the good stuff that comes with the territory. My dream job would be to stay home and write all day and hopefully finish my first novel. And who can forget WriteSpot.org? That would also be part of my dream job!
