De-evolution of Society? - 01/03/2007
Hey guys. Got a question (really a premise, almost) for all you creative sorts:
Many stories and books center on society or cultures de-evolving due to catastrophic events - nuclear war, pandemics, aliens playing shoot-the-human.
What are some of the reasons a society would choose to de-evolve?
(Yep, I have an idea for a book/story but am still a little fuzzy on if it will work or not so thought I'd ask y'all what you thought.)
