Re:When the writing bug bites - 09/10/2006 Squirrel attack!

Omgosh. Something about girls and dresses and walking like lumberjacks. Where's the notebook?!?

Re:When the writing bug bites - 09/10/2006 542 words were entrusted to virtual paper before husband tore me away to go to the wedding. I threatened to take a notebook with me, the suggestion of which caused a look of scandalized horror.

And no, antryg, I won't stop there. There's still quite a bit to add to this idea .

Now what to do with Colloquial Corner.......

Re:When the writing bug bites - 09/09/2006 That's why I sleep with a can of Raid next to the bed. I can kill those ideas quick and get back to sleep. Or maybe I'm drinking the Raid and beating the ideas with a bottle of tequila.

Re:When the writing bug bites - 09/09/2006 ooh, one of those! They are nice little epiphanies of sort. but are real annoying when they come while you're trying to sleep.

But good for you! I'm happy for you...

When the writing bug bites - 09/09/2006

I was all settled down for a nice nap before the big family wedding this afternoon when all the sudden the Writing Bug bit me hard.

Not just a little love nibble, mind you. No, it was more like a sharp piercing to waken my slumbering mind then the insidious insertion of a tantalizing idea, enough to prompt me throw back the covers and wearily search out a writing venue in which to scribble notes.

If it hadn't been such a good article prompt, I'd have gladly exterminated the little bugger!
