I have always had a love for words. At an early age I discovered I could put my feelings in to written words much easier than I could orally. Of course with time, experience and public speaking classes I have learned to speak well in public. Yet, I still find that my soul begins to flow freely once a pen is placed in my hands.

My first piece ever published was at eight years of age. I had a teacher who recognized my ability to write and she encouraged me to enter a poetry contest. I wrote a short poem on tigers, won the contest, had my picture in the local paper and the poem was published in a children's poetry book. Since then I have been writing  poetry, articles and short stories; some which have been published.

Last year I decided to try the internet and took a blogging gig for an animal rights web site. I've also written for a cosemetic web site, with this job I also designed brochures and business cards.  I blog for another site on different issues, just what ever the owner asks for. I am also doing some copywrite work.
