Though I've done a lot of things to keep the bills paid in my time, writing is my passion and there will come a time when I'm able to pound out my next novel from the comfort of my Hawaiian home, I'm sure of it. As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of Hawaii, having visited it eight times. During the summer of 2005 we rented a home on the Big Island for a time and I sat on the front porch one evening listening to the bamboo wind chimes in harmony with the heavenly watering of the large plants and I couldn't imagine a better place for inspiration. If you are an aspiring writer, take my advice and try to find your own inspiration and use it for all it's worth. Your writing will be better for it. |
