After living in Arkansas for a few years, I began to write for local weekly newspapers, then became a stringer for a daily, then was hired by a weekly as a feature writer. My weekly column, Wandering The Ozarks, is still published in a weekly, though I no longer "go to work."
My husband and I have lived in Arkansas for 35 years after wandering about a bit. I was born here. We have a daughter, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild living close to us.
I write everyday, am co-chair of a critique group that has been meeting weekly for almost 20 years. I also speak at conferences and hold workshops.
My latest book came out in April, it's a creative nonfiction, Fly With The Mourning Dove. I have two other books still available.
My first six historical romances are available online as used books under the pseudonyms of Elizabeth Gregg and Samantha Lee.
As I grow older, I've gravitated to small presses and away from the hubbub of NY. |
